Zac Efron Has Dyed His Hair And The Internet Is Having Unholy Thoughts

"I want this Zac Efron to disrespect me."

The sky is blue, the grass is green, and Zac Efron is hot AF — those are facts that we can trust in.

Don't believe me? Well, here's scientific proof.

But the internet is currently losing its mind because Zac turned up at Sundance Film Festival with platinum blond/white hair and...well, it's really something.

Let's take another look, shall we?

How about in black and white for dramatic effect?

Anyway, with all due respect to brunette heartthrob Troy Bolton, the thirst for blond Efron is very, very real.

I want this Zac Efron to disrespect me

Zac Efron with blonde hair is a blessing

Some might say the thirst has got out of hand.

he could literally run me over and i'd still say thank u x https://t.co/9q4604MQa9

so Zac Efron dyed his hair platinum and honestly ....

After a great first date, I want this Zac Efron to straight up ignore my existence and essentially drive me to texting him 8 times without 1 blue tick, then making me question to my friends "is there something wrong with me?" before pledging to never date another man again https://t.co/Dcu9rbRB5M

This isn't actually the first time Zac's dyed his hair, but I personally think we should all agree to forget 2016...

Anyway, Zac debuted his platinum look while promoting upcoming movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile in which he plays infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. The movie has already been criticised, with some saying that Efron is "too attractive" for the role and that the casting therefore glorifies Bundy.

However, others have leapt to the movie's defence, saying Zac being called "too attractive" is entirely the point.

People who are mad over Zac Efron portraying Ted Bundy in the movie because he’s ‘too attractive’ really have VERY little understanding of what made Ted so dangerous. People love to get mad about things they’re not educated about don’t they?

That Zac Efron - Ted Bundy trailer is getting unfair criticism. Do people not understand that in real life Ted Bundy portrayed himself as a very charismatic, cool, American guy. WHICH IS WHY NO ONE SUSPECTED HIM TO BE THE MAN BEHIND THESE HORRIBLE ACTS OF VIOLENCE.

Despite the criticism, early reviews for the movie have been pretty good, with Efron's portrayal labelled "career-changing" and his "best performance" to date.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile hits theatres later this year.
