Tom Holland is known for being a bit of a Marvel blabbermouth. Sorry if you're reading this Tom, but it's true.
I think everybody at this point knows that Tom has a reputation for accidentally giving away spoilers for upcoming movies. For example, there was the time when he revealed there would be two Spider-Man sequels, something which wasn't public knowledge at the time.
He also revealed the sequel's title waaaaay before he was meant to.
Tom low-key gave away the ending of Infinity War too when he walked on stage announcing: "I'm alive!" What he didn't know was that the people sitting in front of him hadn't actually seen the movie yet.
In fact, Tom's so notorious for revealing spoilers that for a while he was paired up with Benedict Cumberbatch, whose job was to basically stop Tom from revealing any secrets in interviews.
Now, director Joe Russo has revealed they have such little trust in Tom that they didn’t even give him the script for Endgame.
"Yeah, Tom Holland does not get the script," said Joe in an interview with Indie Wire. "Tom Holland gets his lines and that's it. He doesn’t even know who he’s acting opposite of. We use like, very vague terms to describe to him what is happening in the scene because he has a very difficult time keeping his mouth shut."
Yep, that's right — Tom apparently doesn't even get to know who he's acting with because he CAN'T KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT!
This all links back to the beginning of 2018, when Tom revealed that the Russo brothers were so secretive that they wouldn't even tell him who he was fighting against in a scene. "I'm just standing there punching the air for 15 minutes and when I took the job I didn't think that's what I'd be doing," he said at ACE Comic Con.
So, I guess poor Tom will be seeing Endgame for the first time along with the rest of us mere mortals!
