Rihanna Went To Drake's Birthday Party, Possibly Ate McDonald's In The Club, Then Went Home, And It's A Big Mood

Rihanna was photographed arriving at Drake's birthday party in LA on Tuesday night, where she enjoyed a "fun girls' night out".

It looks like Rihanna and Drake are friends again after she reportedly attended his birthday party in LA on Tuesday night.

Drake, who turns 33 on Thursday, was celebrating his birthday at Poppy nightclub when Rihanna was photographed walking into the venue.

According to E! News, Rihanna was escorted to Drake's table when she arrived and, apparently proving that the pair are friends again, seemed to be having a great time celebrating his birthday.

E! News claimed that a source said: "[Rihanna] and Drake were talking for a while and were smiling and laughing. It seemed like a very pleasant interaction and they looked like they were having fun together as friends."

Inside the event, Rih hung out with friend Lyrica Anderson, who posted a video of the pair to her Instagram story.

And, according to a comment left by Lyrcia on The Shade Room's Instagram post, it was a fun girls' night out.

But by far my favourite thing about this whole story is the fact that Drake had McDonald's ordered to the club, because that's apparently something you can do when you're rich and famous.

I have to say, ordering bags of nuggets, cheeseburgers, and fries to the club is a rather large mood. Beats queueing in the actual store at 5am and then standing out in the cold waiting for a taxi anyway.

According to a Shade Room source, the McDonald's was "for Riri and her whole crew" which somehow makes this even better.

Rihanna attending Drake's birthday is a massive step forward compared to the state of their relationship last year. Talking to Vogue in 2018, the Barbadian singer apparently "winced" at the mention of the rapper's name and claimed they didn't have a friendship at all.

While presenting her with the Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 VMAs, Drake admitted his love for Rihanna, saying: "She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old. She's one of my best friends in the world."

However, talking to Vogue in 2018, Rihanna revealed how the presentation really made her feel, saying: "Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments." On her relationship with Drake at the time, Rihanna added: "We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is."

But it's good to see that the two are friends once more, especially since it opens the door for another iconic collab when (or, more accurately, IF) Rihanna drops that new album...
