OK, I'm gonna say it off the bat — I don't know much about Post Malone, so I wouldn't exactly say I'm a fan. Like, the only thing I really know about him is that he looks like he's involved in some Final Destination sequel because terrible things keep happening to him for no apparent reason.
But after seeing a recent report from TMZ, I think I might have to start stanning because he's given me new goals and I've never felt more inspired.
What am I talking about? Oh, nothing really, just the fact that apparently Post (can you call him by just his first name? IDK, sounds weird but OK) spent more than $40,000 on takeout food in a year.
According to a TMZ report, which has been confirmed by Postmates themselves, he's made a ton of orders with the company — who deliver food, groceries and alcohol — in the last year. In fact, his orders have totalled more than $40K from places such as "Chick-fil-A, Burger King, KFC, Panda Express, and Popeyes."
Breaking it down even further, Post has apparently ordered almost 3000 individual items. Please just take a moment to think of how much food that is. Like, imagine 3000 Big Macs.
Those 3000 items have been divvied up into 660 total orders (IN ONE YEAR), which means on average Post Malone orders four separate things each time he fires up the app.
And also means that if you average out the amount of deliveries by the days of the year, Post would pretty much make two orders a day EVERY DAY for the entire year.
This isn't even the first time Post Malone has been in the news because of ordering food. At Coachella last year, TMZ also reported that Post dropped a casual $8000 just on biscuits from Popeyes alone.
Oh, to be rich, famous, and hungry. I really need to start dreaming bigger.
