Miley Cyrus Literally Said "Fuck You" For Being Forced To Apologise When She Posed "Semi-Nude" 10 Years Ago

    "I'M NOT SORRY!"

If there's one thing you already know about Miley Cyrus, it's that she's truly unapologetic, and we love her for it.

But although she's always been candid, Miley hasn't always been as unapologetic as we know and love her to be now. Just look back to her Disney Channel days for example.

In 2008 and at new heights of fame following the success of Hannah Montana, then 15 year old Miley appeared in an issue of Vanity Fair.

In the interview, she was honest about a number of things, including the paparazzi, her career, and being compared to Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

But it was one of the accompanying pictures, shot by Annie Leibovitz, that caused a furore in the media, resulting in Disney, Leibovitz, and Miley herself apologising for "posing seminude".

In a statement released following the uproar, Miley said:

I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic,’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen, and I apologize to my fans, who I care so deeply about.

This was in contrast to what she said about the photo during the interview, where she called the picture "pretty and really natural".

Well now, a decade later, Miley has taken back her apology on Twitter, and she didn't even need all of her 280 characters to do it.

People obviously loved the change of heart.

@MileyCyrus I FUCKING LOVE YOU FOR THIS

And it brought back memories for some too.

@MileyCyrus i knew your ass wasn’t sorry when my 12 year old ass read your apology in the news

I think Miley got the message across pretty clearly, don't you?
