This year, the event's theme was About Time: Fashion and Duration and would've seen Nicolas Ghesquière, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Meryl Streep, and Emma Stone join Anna Wintour as cochairs.

Who knows, we might've even had the triumphant return of Rihanna, reigning queen of the Met Gala since 2007.

However, because of that meddling coronavirus and its resulting lockdown precautions, this year's fashion extravaganza has been postponed until further notice. Sad!

Of course, being a supermodel/living legend, Naomi knows a thing or two about the Met Gala, and she's turned some LOOKS over the last couple of years.

But since she can't stun us all on the red carpet right now, she decided to dress up in her favourite Met Gala outfit from the comfort of her own home.
Donning the pink lace bodysuit and cape from last year's Camp: Notes on Fashion Met Gala, Naomi video-called the designer, Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli, to discuss the look.

Revealing that the bodysuit was actually supposed to be a dress, Naomi explained that Pierpaulo worked his magic to create the outfit in less than 36 hours.

"He arrived on Saturday [and] he completely dismantled the dress," she said. "We decided no dress and we were gonna do a bodysuit."
36 hours to create this show-stopping look? Wizardry!
