Justin Bieber Said He Didn't Think He "Should Be Alive" In An Emotional Speech About His New Album

"I don't even think I should be alive never mind thrive."

Justin Bieber apparently got emotional at a recent party celebrating his upcoming album, opening up about the "immense depression" that he's experienced over the years.

According to multiple reports, Justin threw a listening party for his album in Los Angeles on Thursday night and "broke down in tears" while giving a speech about the inspiration behind it.

"I don't even think I should be alive never mind thrive," Justin apparently said while talking about the "super challenging" moments in his life. "I feel like God's brought me out of a really dark place."

Justin went on to say that he'd grown up in the music industry but had also been "hurt by the industry" too, although he didn't elaborate further on that point.

As well as thanking God and his wife Hailey, Justin also got emotional when thanking his manager, Scooter Braun, saying: "You walked with me through a lot of shit."

The details of Justin's upcoming album are still pretty vague, with a name and release date yet to be made public. However, Billboard reported that the music focuses on the "healing powers of love and marriage" and has an R&B vibe.

Something we do know is that an intimate YouTube documentary about the singer is due for release later this month.
