Ellen DeGeneres Was Pulled Over By Police TWICE And Still Didn't Get A Ticket

Apparently offering a selfie is all you need to get yourself out of trouble. Who knew?!

There are certain perks that come with being famous: being rich, having other famous friends, and, if your name's Ellen DeGeneres, never getting a speeding ticket even when you might deserve one.

So, Ellen made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her latest standup comedy show, Relatable, and somehow the conversation got onto driving.

After revealing that she loves driving, Ellen confessed that she had actually been pulled over by police only a couple of days before for driving 35mph in a 30mph zone.

But when the cop came to the window, he low-key realised who he'd pulled over. After asking to see her license and confirming that it was the actual Ellen DeGeneres, he let her off!

But that wasn't the only time Ellen got caught speeding. Nope, she was actually pulled over again last year, this time on the freeway.

That time, Ellen admitted she was going fast and so was rightfully pulled over. As soon as she saw the lights behind her, she said she got that nervous feeling, but it turns out she had no need to be scared...

Ellen immediately offered the cop a selfie and went on her merry way without a ticket.

So, if I ever get pulled over by police and a selfie doesn't get me out of trouble, I'm suing.
