In case you missed the 71 posts on her Instagram story — not an exaggeration, there were literally 71 of them — Cara Delevingne celebrated her 28th birthday on Wednesday.
All together now — HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, CARA!
The model and actor marked the occasion by drawing attention to the important issue of plastic pollution, asking fans to sign a petition and demand that Congress pass the Break Free From Pollution Act.
And Cara wasn't exactly short of birthday messages either, with many of her celebrity pals chiming in with well wishes.
One such message came from fellow model Kaia Gerber, who went one step further and revealed that the pair actually have matching tattoos.
Yep, they both have "solemate" inked on their foot. Get it? Sole mate. Lol.
Kaia's birthday wishes came with a lot of foot actually. Not sure how much foot is classed as too much foot for a birthday message but I still think the ~solemate~ thing is cute.
In another picture, Kaia joked that Cara was the only person who wears her face on a hoodie.
Before she then called her the "best protest buddy" over a picture of them cuddling at a recent Black Lives Matter event.
So, all in all, it looks like Cara had a great birthday. Here's to 28!
