When you read a book, do you have a pre-existing picture of your favourite characters before seeing them? Cos I do. So it's always a great comfort when the TV or movie version of a character actually lives up to my expectations!
We want to know the book characters you think were adapted well for screen, and why...
Maybe Mara Wilson as Matilda was exactly what you imagined after reading the Roald Dahl book?

Or perhaps, like me, you think Alan Rickman's Snape was absolutely genius!

Did you think Henry Cavill's Geralt was beyond brilliant? (And are now gutted that it's been recast?)

Or do you agree that Michael Clarke Duncan gave us a devastatingly perfect portrayal of John Coffey in The Green Mile?

Whatever it is, we want to know the book character you think was really well adapted for the screen, and WHY! Let us know in the comments below and you could be featured in a future BuzzFeed Community post or video!
