18. The Crow: City of Angels

"My grandma was staying at our house long term. I was a teenager, and my favourite film was the first Crow movie. So, when the second one became available to rent, we rented it. I had to wait until grandma went to bed to watch it.

It was about midnight when I started it, and about 10 minutes in, grandma came out and sat down on the couch saying she couldn't sleep. If I had seen the movie before, I would have turned it off. It was an awful movie with some torture porn sprinkled in. Every time we sat down for family movie night after that, she would say: 'I hope it's not as bad as that bird movie.'"
