    1. A headlight cleaner you'll really take a shine to when you see the dazzling results.

Promising review: "It is as amazing as it sounds. It doesn't take any power tools, just your strength, and you can turn your ugly headlights into as good as new (or at least a whole lot closer than you could imagine they could get). I feel like I just saved myself $400 because I would have had to take the car to the dealer and had them install new headlights. I would have had to pay for parts and labor, plus the inconvenience of taking my car in. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to save a lot of money and use a great quality product." —PinkZ_

Get it from Amazon for $17.99.

    2. A pack of generic cleaning pads (aka Magic Eraser dupes) so you can pay even LESS to clean virtually everything in your home.

    Tom Vellner / BuzzFeed

Read more about this cheap dupe.

Promising review: "I tried my sponges today, and the first thing I noticed is that they are very durable! I have been using Magic Erasers since they were in the testing phases, and they do not last anywhere close to as long as these do. I usually use Magic Erasers for scrubbing out my shower pan (with Ajax), and by the time I’m done, the sponge has already lost some chunks, and I can normally only get two uses out of them. This STK sponge didn’t break at all, and only SLIGHTLY compressed after the first use. I will be buying these again, and save lots of money in the long run." —KarmaDreams71

Get a pack of 20 from Amazon for $8.95.

    3. A roll of fiberglass cloth mesh for repairing ripped window screens without replacing the whole darn thing.

Promising review: "This is an awesome product that's very easy to use and saved me a ton of money as an alternative to replacing the screens. I have a sun room with very large screens (approximately 5' x 5'), which would've taken a lot of time and material to replace. Yes, you can see where I repaired the holes, but that's not a huge deal. I really like the fact that you can cut this tape to any size to fit almost all needs." —Jerrykyll

Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (available in two colors).

    4. A Quip toothbrush ready to keep your pearly whites clean. Brush twice a day to keep the dentist bills away!

The Quip is great because it's compact, sleek, and effective. It alerts you every 30 seconds to encourage you to keep brushing for the full two minutes. They send you new heads and batteries in the mail, so you don't even have to worry about trips to the drugstore for new brushes. I'm not the only one who loves this thing. See our glowing review of the Quip.

Get it from Quip starting at $25.

    5. A bendy drain snake so effective, you'll wonder if you should start a plumbing company that specializes in clogged drains.

Promising review: "Like many others, I tried plungers, drain cleaners, baking soda, vinegar, etc with little success. By little success I am talking about merely turning a clog into a very slow drain that lasts a day or two before becoming a full clog again. I finally realized that it was going to take a plumber with a snake to clear my bathroom drain. I called some local plumbers for a few estimates and was blown away buy how much the wanted to unclog a drain, the estimates ranged from $120 to $250! Being disabled, I have limited home repair ability but I knew I had to find a way to fix it myself, and I could not believe how easy the solution was. I took a chance and this simple little device reached down into my drain and pulled up hair and globs of sludge that had been building up inside that drain for who knows how many years. Not only did I save a LOT of money but I also felt good about fixing it myself. These won't fix every type of drain problem such as clogs further down the pipes, but the majority of sink clogs happen in the trap (a U-, S-, or J-shaped pipe located below the sink) and this will do the job." —Figureof8

Get it from Amazon for $5.01.

    6. A pair of cheap, yet reliable sneaks that'll do the job of much more expensive brands (things like looking good, keeping your feet comfortable, staying clean, etc.) at a fraction of the cost.

    8. A grout pen for painting over your icky tiles when a professional cleaning seems out of your budget.

Promising review: "I bought this to clean up the pitted and cracked shower grout in my apartment. If I owned the place, I'd properly have had it re-grouted and sealed. But for the price, this did the trick and made the shower look sharp and clean. The paint dispenses easily and is pretty simple to apply evenly (and if you screw up, just use a sponge to wipe off where you colored outside the lines). It made it through its first cleaning test, when I sprayed with Kaboom tile cleaner. For my situation, it worked." —Beez

Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available two sizes and in four colors).

Promising review: "I’m sorry if the picture is too graphic but I wanted to show how well this product works. It pulled out my whitehead in one piece and didn’t leave me with red/irritated area. I no longer have to be annoyed every time I approach my vehicle from the front! It didn't take a lot of effort to get it back to looking like new again. I will use it again in the future if necessary. I'm glad that I didn't pay someone at the body shop to try to buff the scratches out, I saved a bunch of money with this!" —Bonnie Walton

Get it from Amazon for $19.97.

    15. A heat brush capable of blowing your hair out to near-salon level perfection. Your hair stylist is going to forget what you look like.

Promising review: "Let's face it. It's near impossible to get a salon blow-out look at home. Your arms get tired and trying to manage a brush and blowdryer at once is a feat in and of itself. I thought I'd give this brush a try and I love it! I actually like the way my hair looks after using this styler better than when I go to the salon — seriously. I love my hairdresser and she does a great job, but I've actually gotten more compliments on my hair when I do it myself with this tool. It's great and you can't beat the price!" —Debbie

Promising review: "This is so cute. I read so many reviews and decided to go with this one. The lights are bright and bold, but not too bright to keep you up. The mister is good for a small bedroom. I'll be getting the 500ml one for my family area. One of the legs of our metal coffee table caused rust to form on the carpet. I thought it was ruined. I bought this product, sprayed it on the carpet, walked away for FIVE MINUTES, came back and the stain was completely GONE! Carpet saved! Amazing when products actually do what they promise. This is one of them!" —Kinnakeet

    22. A Divacup that's better for than the environment and nicer to your wallet than regular pads and tampons.

It offers 12 hours of leak-free protection (but you might want to add a liner on heavy flow days).

Promising review: "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS THING. Okay, so nearly everyone with a period will tell you NO UNDERWEAR IS SAFE. No matter what you use, no matter what color the underwear is, the blood will find a way to destroy it... UNTIL TODAY. I wore PRISTINE WHITE AS LILIES PANTIES the other day. And as I was getting ready in the morning I was like 'Wait, I'm going to get my period soon. Better cup up to be safe.' I went through my day living my life with no hint or indication that I was bleeding from below, that is until I emptied my cup. THAT MOTHER WAS FILLED TO THE BRIM. Apparently I had not only gotten my period but the entirety of a Quentin Tarantino film had taken place under my skirt. I'm talking elevator-of-blood-from-horror-masterpiece-The-Shining levels here. And my snow white panties? NOT A DROP ON THEM. You would have never known my vagina was the battle ground for Freddy Vs. Jason. Needless to say this is the BEST THING for people with periods to avoid holding another mourning session for their favorite pair of undergarments. Never using pads or tampons again. THANKS DIVACUP!" —Ninapedia

    25. Bra and pant extenders, which are a lot easier to buy than a whole new maternity wardrobe., Amazon

Promising review (for bra extender): "These have been amazing during my pregnancy. I really can't rave enough. When my body started changing, I went out and bought a new bra (I'm a 32 and got a 34), but soon it started feeling tight on me. I didn't need another bra because the cups still fit fine, and then I found these extenders and they made all the difference! I can extend without buying new bras! They are sooo soft and comfortable, you can't really feel or tell they are there. I've already recommended them to all of my pregnant friends!" —Mari

Promising review (for waistband extender): "I'm in the middle of my first trimester and these have been awesome! I'm still too small for maternity pants, but am too bloated to wear my current pants as-is. This pack is great because it includes both kinds of closures (buttons and metal clasp) and it comes in a variety of colors. I highly recommend! I'm fairly sure I will be using these until I am in all maternity clothes and perhaps after (pair it with a bellyband), and also after baby is born and I go back to work!" —JMCrwy

    27. A super effective cockroach poison to try before hiring an actual exterminator.

Promising review: "Had a bad roach problem at a rental property. Tried roach bombing the unit, but the roaches kept coming back within a day or so. Saw this on Amazon and after reading the reviews, I placed an order and waited anxiously for it to arrive. Product came within two days, thank you Amazon Prime. I bombed the unit and vacuumed the home to the point where there were no more roaches in sight. Then I applied the Advion Bait. Within a minute, roaches were crawling out of every crack and crevice in the home, literally crawling over each others bodies to get a taste of this stuff. My rental unit had Pergo laminate flooring. I came back the next day to check on the progress and I found the units floor had turned into carpet. A carpet made of roach corpses. Prior to trying Advion roach gel I had an exterminator come out to give me a quote on the unit. He said the initial spray treatment would cost $200, and to effectively control the roach problem he would have to come out for monthly follow-up visits. Each visit would cost another $80. And this would go on indefinitely. No thanks. After a couple of rounds of Advion bait treatment, waiting about three days between applications, the unit is now ready to rent to a new tenant. TIP: I found that applying the product in a polka dot pattern along the surfaces of the walls to be the best technique to maximize product exposure." —T. V.

Get it from Amazon for $30.95.
