29 Fun Things That Are Actually Worth Buying

Impulse buys without the risk of buyer's remorse.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A four-pack of Crayola gel hand sanitizers that are easy to squeeze and come in cool colors. 99.99% of common germs hate this stuff and 99.99% of kids are likely to love it!,

Promising review: "My kids LOVE their Crayola hand sanitizer. Thank you for making the importance of clean hands fun. I am going to need to buy a lot more; this is such a hit." Amazon Customer

Get them from Amazon for $12.99.

    2. A mystical wireless phone charger for anyone who prefers fantasy over the sci-fi reality we live in.

Magic = unexplained science! This spell circle works with iPhones 11 and up, and Samsung Galaxys S8 and up.

Promising review "Product works great, looks cool, gives my nightstand a bit of magical flair without being so ostentatious that it keeps me up at night unlike some other magic circle chargers. AFAIK the runes mean nothing, the only word I can make out along the outer circle is futharc, which is the name of the Norse rune alphabet and is comprised of the first six letters of said alphabet. Most likely the rest of the letters are merely the rest of the alphabet in sequence, the literal rune equivalent of 'ABCDEFG' and so on. Overall, a good find. I am satisfied."

Get it from Amazon for $46.99+ (available in four colors).

    3. A heart-shaped ring light for well-lit and absolutely adorable conference calls and selfies.

    ring light on a stand

I also recently watched a TikTok for a larger version that gives you literal heart eyes — fun!

Promising review: "I was a little nervous about getting the heart one since no one had reviewed it yet, but I decided to take a chance since it was so cheap. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this little thing is! The max brightness is borderline blinding, and the lowest setting is wonderful for casual picture-taking. I got this so I can use it for streaming and was a little disappointed with how small the clip is to attach it to the monitor. It appears it’s only wide enough to attach to a thin laptop. However, with all the stands it comes with, that’s not really much of an issue. Definitely would recommend if you’re wanting a cheap heart light!"

    Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $29.13.

    4. The new buzzworthy July air conditioner that solves the age-old problem of the unsightly window unit. Get this when you're ready to retire your old dusty AC that requires duct tape and cardboard to install.

    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed, July

OK, big fan of this thing! Traditional ACs are such an eyesore so I'm kind of surprised that no one invented a pretty air conditioner sooner. It comes with a frame that you install in the window first so you can just pop the AC right in without having to fiddle with the window while holding something very, very heavy.

Once you get it in, it cools a room down pretty effectively, which is obviously the most important aspect. It's about as loud as an average air conditioner when on high but purrs like a kitchen when on low and eco-mode, which still provide a good amount of cold air. You can swap out the magnetic front panels to fit your mood or ever-changing decor. In short: It works as well as any other quality air conditioner. It's just way prettier.

Note: This may be out of stock but if you join the waitlist, July plans multiple re-stocks throughout the summer.

Get it from July for $375+ (available in two sizes and nine colors).

    5. A foaming hand soap that dispenses yuzu-scented foam in the shape of a flower. I'm sorry, is this the bathroom of a MAGICAL FOREST SPRITE?

hand holds flower shaped dollop of soap

Promising review: "I will admit I first saw this soap on TikTok and thought that it would be a nice soap to try since I do seem to be washing my hands all the time these days. I was very pleasantly surprised when I pushed down (twice) to get the foam to come out and not only is the flower cute but the foam is also thick and luxurious, and makes your hands feel totally moisturized after you wash them. The smell is very pretty and not overpowering at all." Audra Williams

Get it from Amazon for $16.32.

    6. A carbonated clay face mask to turn your face into a hilarious foamy delight. Best of all? It has actual benefits like cleaning out pores and fighting blackheads.,

Promising review: "This was purchased strictly for novelty at first but I was pleasantly surprised that it made my skin feel softer when I took it off. I forced my husband to do it first and it looks like it helped clean out his pores on his nose, so that’s another win for this mask! I’ve already recommended it to friends!"

Get it from Amazon for $11.99.

I don’t even bother using a lash curler anymore! I buy two at a time so I always have a spare (yes, it’s that good!!). I highly recommend this particular mascara... It goes on effortlessly, it lasts pretty much all day, and the price — I feel like I’m almost stealing it! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!!" chulaboola

Get it from Amazon for $4.99.

    10. A foaming lavender bath with pure epsom salt to soothe the body and create the most sudsy bath experience ever.

reviewer covered from neck to toe in bubbles soaking in a deep bath

Promising review: "I love this stuff soooo much. I have had some rash issues on my fingers ever since I got a full body rash from Downy Unstopables (the worst product ever!!) and had to take prednisone to get rid of it. Ever since I started regularly soaking in the tub with this, I have had hardly any flare-ups. Something about the ingredients in this particular combination makes my skin sing. Promising review: "These are hands down my favorite leggings. I love the fit and the feel of them. Would repurchase in every color and I already have probably six different colors already and I want MORE!! They hold up in the washer/dryer and color doesn't bleed onto other clothes. The only thing I didn't love on the leggings was that the waistband was quite thick; my simple fix for it was just making a small cut on the inside seam and cutting the elastic out and it makes them fit PERFECTLY." Aspen
