1. The first step is a lippie! Yes, what better way to start then taking care of your ~extra~ kissable kissers? Plus, how perfect are these shades for fall?
I chose their viral Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump because I love how it looks and feels on my lips — which is AMAZING. This product is an all-in-one that combines balm, gloss, color, and treatment. BRB trying to find a color I don't already own!
2. Now comes perhaps the most difficult choice, and that's what cheek product you want. This category includes blush, highlighter (liquid and powder), and bronzer — hence why it's the most difficult decision.
I chose the Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer in the cult-fave color Park Ave Princess because it has quite literally changed my life (as a fair gal looking for a bronzer that won't make me look orange). Long-wearing and made so you can use it on your face and body, what's not to love? Bonus: It can work as both a bronzer and contour. I use it for both!
3. Step 3: Eye products. We're talking eyeliner, tinted brow gel, eyeshadow palettes, and more.
After much debate, I chose the Tarteist Pro Matte Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette since I am, at my core, a Tarte eyeshadow stan. I love how easily blendable and pigmented their formula is and I am also a neutral girly, so this is basically what all of my hopes and dreams are made of.
4. The next step: choose your complexion product. There are seven fab options, so good luck choosing between them all (I struggled to pick one since I'm in love with all of them).
I chose the Shape Tape Cloud cream because it has SPF 15 (take care of your skin bbs!) and, of course, it's super lightweight, buildable, and comfortable!
5. Next up is perhaps the most ~important~ step in everyone's routine: the prep and set (aka everything you need to make sure your makeup look actually stays put). This category includes setting spray, primer, moisturizer, and all the right tools to apply your products.
I opted for the Complexion Powder Brush since you can honestly never have too many brushes. Giant and oh-so-soft and fluffy, this helps your skin look airbrushed.
6. And what good is a makeup look without the finishing touch? AKA the MVP of eye makeup... mascara!
I chose the Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara for the sole reason it's one of my favorite mascaras of all time. There's nothing it can't do; it lifts, lengthens, curls, and volumizes (like it ~actually~ does what it claims to do). It's also survived NYC's extremely hot weather and snow storms so, it's a yes from me.
7. And finally, the last step of putting together your dream kit. (Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.) You need somewhere to store everything so obvi, the last item is a makeup bag!
I am personally a lover of all things glitter and blue, so it should come as no surprise the paradise bag is the one I chose. JUST LOOK HOW FREAKING PRETTY! I'm obsessed!
