Drone Captures Devastation After Super-Typhoon Haiyan

THIS shocking drone footage captures the full extent of the devastation caused by super-typhoon Haiyan. More than 3,500 people were killed and more than 12,000 injured by deadly storm in The Philippines. British photographer Lewis Whyld yesterday (November 14) used a drone to fly over Ormoc City in Leyte Province. This video shows the full horror of the natural disaster from the skies - including a destroyed school. The Category 5 storm, with wind speeds up to 314 kilometres per hour, is thought to be the strongest tropical cyclone to ever hit land. It devastated large areas of the Philippines, particularly Samar Island and Leyte, affecting 9 million people.
