Buy yourself something nice

Sometimes a staycation is even better than a full blown vacation. Take some time off work when you can and do what you love at home. Spa day? Video games? Catch up on some TV? Cuddle your pet? This staycation is your oyster and your mental health will be all the better for it.

Enjoy a staycation

Life should be enjoyed and you deserve to bake yourself something nice. Not only will this be a relaxing pastime, you'll get to taste a treat you probably haven't had in a while!

Remember that one place you went to that turned into your happy place? You should go there again. Your soul needs some rejuvenation and a trip to your real life happy place is exactly what would help it. Go to that nature center, invest in tickets to that amusement park, or make that drive to the local zoo! You deserve it!

Go out an outing to someplace you love

Animals are the purest form of therapy. You deserve some animal love. They love unconditionally and magically know exactly what you need. Your soul will thank you for providing it the comfort and love it deserves. Volunteer at your local animal shelter, visit a petting zoo or look into adopting a new pet!

Spend time with some animals

Life can get busy and you may lose track of some of your favorite hobbies. Take time to get back into them and maybe find some new things to love! Your heart will be happier when you make some effort to spend time doing things you love. Pick up the pen or brush again, crochet that mushroom you’ve been thinking about, or bake that new recipe you found on Pinterest! Whatever it is, put some time aside to do it! You deserve it.
