16 Different People You'll Meet At A Bar

Strangers yet very familiar.

1. The "Bars Overseas Are Better" Guy

They're back from New York, Berlin, or Paris, how do we know? Oh you'll know because they'll tell you. This or that, everything in fact, is just done better overseas according to this person. And yet they still keep coming back. Weird.

3. The "Mysterious" Bartender

Covered in tattoos and perfectly sculpted hair. With? We don't know, because we're too scared to ask what they use. But we'd like some. They don't talk much, but that's OK as long as they ask "Can I get you something?"

4. The "Happy Go Lucky" Bartender

This bartender is a top bloke who knows everything there is to know about booze. They're the nicest people you'll meet and always up for a chat when it comes to drinks. Not to mention a free round here and there! Yew!

5. The "We Should Go to Karaoke!" Girl

This girl won't be at the bar long, but while she is she'll sing her sentences hinting that she wants to go sing off key into a microphone somewhere.

6. The "Always on Their Damn Phone" Person

Either they're awkwardly waiting for someone so they're trying to look busy, or they're just dicks and can't socialise without a screen in their face.

7. The "Next Round Is on Me" Mate

This guy's laughing because he's bought the last two rounds and now it's on his mate over there...only for him to say "I'll get the next one." Sure you will buddy, sure you will.

10. The "New in Town" Fellow

This one's here to see what his new town has to offer. And they don't speak much English. But the one word they do recognise is "bar" so here they are. Listening intently, trying to understand exactly you're on about.

11. The "Do You Know Who I Am?" Bro

We don't recognise these guys, yet for some weird reason they feel they deserve special treatment. Maybe they were on Home and Away once? Or played league? But still, no clue.

12. The "Let Me Tell You About This Song" Guy

No matter what song comes on. He knows a guy who knows a guy who helped write it. Or helped record it. Or helped play lead bass on it. Even if the song has no bass in it.

16. The "Last Man Standing" Man

It's closing time, and the lights are getting switched on, he's just walked in from either the best night or the worst. And all he wants is a drink. We've all been this guy once in our life.

Now that you've met everyone...let's have a drink.
