What time do you usually wake up?

Pick a breakfast

Do you nap?

Do you pull all-nighters?

What time do you usually sleep?

Raise your hand more to answer questions or engage in class discussions. Don't be afraid to be wrong and no question or comment is stupid- it's all part of the learning process.

Participate more in class

It's all too easy to push things to do at the last minute. Make an effort to complete large projects in increments so you aren't scrambling and pulling all nighters the day before. This also helps you to stay on top of the current topics in class.

Stop procrastinating

Challenge yourself with a new or harder class or maybe join a new extra curricular activity. You may surprise yourself and find a new passion.

Try something new

It's easy to just go to class, do your homework, and then forget about it. But when exams come by, it's a scramble to relearn things or figure it out for the first time. Go to office hours if they're available and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Falling behind and struggling to keep up is an awful hole to dig yourself into.

But also don't forget about your old friends. You can sit with someone new at lunch, or spark up a conversation with the person sitting next to you in class who can be your new study buddy. Join a club or volunteer, you never know who you may meet. Try to initiate te conversation instead of waiting for the conversation to come to you.

Make new friends and meet new people

Whether it's organizing your time, your desk space or notes better, studying becomes more efficient when things are easier to find and clearly laid out. This can save you a lot of time in the long run.
