    8 Emotions Aussies Felt During The G20

    If you were following the events of the G20 this weekend, then it's likely you suffered through one of the many cringeworthy moments from Tony Abbott and his government this weekend (or the celebration when Barack Obama weighed in).

    1. It all started when Tony Abbott complained to the world's most powerful leaders that he couldn't charge us $7 to go to the doctor.

    2. He immediately followed that by boasting he had gotten rid of Australia's only effective action to tackle climate change.

    3. There was a glimmer of hope when Barack Obama gave a rousing speech at UQ telling us to "keep raising our voices" for climate change action.

    4. That just became plain awesome when he said we need to stand up for equal rights for women, LGBTQI rights and even used the phrase "Brisvegas".

    5. But we got dragged back to reality when the whole Tony Abbott vs Putin shirtfront thing flared up again.

    6. Then our PM advocated for the future of coal -- again. At the same time as he's trying to cut the Renewable Energy Target!

    7. It was the final straw when Treasurer Joe Hockey was asked whether climate change was an economic issue and replied "no, absolutely not"

    8. When can we wake up from the nightmare that is the Abbott Government?
