When it comes to love, the Seven of Pentacles isn't the most romantic or glamorous card. As far as your past is concerned, this card speaks of a time in which you had to put aside romance and reckless abandon in order to guarantee a more fruitful future for yourself. Being responsible can be downright boring, and unfortunately, your love life suffered because of it. If you were single, maybe you pressed pause on dating to focus on your goals. If you were in a relationship, you most likely had to forgo the wild nights out and expensive trips so you could reap greater rewards later on. No doubt, this period of laying low was good for your future, but was it good for your heart?

So, you've been trying to do it all, have you? How'd that work out for you? According to the Two of Pentacles, it actually didn't turn out too bad. But juggling is a hard thing to do, especially when one of the things you're juggling is love. Sure, you had your work-life balance down to science, but did some pieces fall and shatter on the floor? I hate to say it, but the Four of Cups in your past is usually an indicator that you weren't all that grateful for what you had. And because of that, your love life took some hits.
