This card represents some good, old-fashioned rest and relaxation. I don't know what you were doing in your past, but you seriously needed to chill. But think of this card as a phoenix. Sure, you're going to burn, and it's going to hurt really badly. But you'll rise from the ashes. That's where you're going to grow into a bigger, better you. In its wake, the Tower leaves behind only the essentials. Think of it as a forest fire. Everything is going to burn down around you, but the forest will be better because of it in the end.

This card represents a fear-based paralysis. Something is going to have you shaking in your boots, and you're going to be scared to take even the smallest step forward. Go on and take that step, okay? Push through the fear. After all, fear is natural and normal. Letting yourself get caught up in that fear? That's unfair to yourself.

Okay, don't freak out. You're going to need to watch out for a person who may seem wise, but they're really just bitter. Old age doesn't always mean that the person you're talking to is wise. Even the elderly have been burned, and the Queen of Swords is going to lean on you because of the mistakes of their past. Set healthy boundaries from the get-go. That's the only way you'll get ahead.

To make your dreams come true, you will have to forge the life you have envisioned for yourself. Who else is going to do this for you? Don't become complacent. Your life is waiting. Answer its call through hard work.

Sometimes, it's the things we bury that we need to find the most. The Moon means that there's going to be something in your future that isn't easy to face. It might take a lot of thought and planning, but you're going to find the light, my friend. Connect with the wildness of the world that surrounds you and give into illusion. This is a time for diving deep, so don't be afraid to stray from the shallow.

This card is a tough one. The Three of Swords represents something that really frickin' hurts. It's more than likely a betrayal of trust in which someone that you hold dear lies to your face. Try and not stress too much. You will move past this. Besides, it's not so much the betrayal than the feelings that come with betrayal that make this card so daunting. You are going to get through this. Just remember that pain is often a sign that you're growing. They don't call it growing pains for nothing.

Everything seems like it's going fine, right? How come there's that feeling of disorder and chaos lurking above your consciousness? Pay attention to what your soul is telling you. You're going to enter a period of illusion. This period may seem like a gift. It may seem right. But is it? Is it really? Check in with yourself every now and again to make sure you don't wander aimlessly into this card and get lost there forever.

Hard work is... well, hard. Your future is going to call for you to really put the pedal to the metal and work as hard as you can to achieve a goal or dream. You're going to be so close to your destination, and you're going to want to quit because you're so dang tired. Give yourself a five minute break and then dive right back in. Dreams come true through determination. Keep up your momentum and break the tape.

Saddle up, friend, because you're about to go on a journey. This could be either physical or metaphorical, but no matter which one your journey is, you're going to end up in a different place. It's not going to necessarily be easy or the most fun, but your destination awaits. Look toward the horizon.

There's a pretty emotionally volatile fight coming your way, friend. Emotions are going to run high, and you're going to feel like one of those cartoon characters whose faces turn bright red with anger. Manifest these emotions, but remember — what you're fighting about might not really be what you're actually fighting about. Dive into those emotions because that is where healing begins and the seed of real, honest communication starts to bloom.

Okay, I'm not going to lie. This card sucks. It hits you in all those emotionally vulnerable stops that always feel a little sensitive anyway. The Eight of Cups in your future means you're going to have to let something go. It's going to feel wrong and weird, but you have to let it go to move on. This often comes in the form of a breakup or letting go of something you really care for. It will hurt, but you're going to be better for it in the end. Gather your support system and know that you're going to make it through.

I know this card sounds really scary, but bear with me. You're not going to die. This card rarely implies an actual death. What the Death card means in terms of your future is that something is going to end. This can be the end of an era, friendship, or career trajectory. It's usually for the best that these things end, so try to keep an eye out for a silver lining.
