15 Christmas Songs We've Been Pretending Are Good For Far Too Long
Michael Bublé, I'm so sorry.
When we asked the BuzzFeed Community about their most unpopular Christmas opinions, we noticed that people were really Grinching out on the music. Just to the stir the pot, here are the songs that got the most flak:

1. "Santa Baby" by Michael Bublé

"Santa Baby" is a bad song, and nearly everyone who covers it tries to sound all sensual singing about Santa, but I got to give it to Michael Bublé, his version ("Santa buddy, a 65 Convertible too, steel blue, I'll wait up for you, dude") is the absolute WORST.
2. "Baby It's Cold Outside" by literally anyone

"Baby It's Cold Outside" is an awful song with a very creepy guy trying to take advantage of a girl when she just wants to go home.
3. "Santa Clause Lane" by Hilary Duff

I hate most modern Christmas music (pretty much anything written in the last 100 years). Give me the "Waltz of the Flowers" from The Nutcracker any day.
4. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Michael Bublé

I honestly just heard the Michael Bublé version for the first time ever this year and I wanted to gag. So bad, omg.
5. “Mistletoe” by Justin Bieber

I want to hear voices not autotuned, bells, orchestras, etc! We can listen to pop anytime.
6. “Little Drummer Boy” by Pentatonix

I hate it.
7. "Last Christmas" by the Glee Cast

I hate Glee covers of Christmas music. I've had to listen to Lea Michele sing "Last Christmas" multiple times over an eight-hour shift, and I've had enough.
8. "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney

"Wonderful Christmastime" should be banned from the radio.
9. "White Christmas" by any country artist

No, I do not want to hear twangy versions of Christmas songs by Blake Shelton or Taylor Swift.
10. "Christmas Shoes" by NewSong

A horrendous song with the moral of the story being that God will straight-up kill a kid's mom on Christmas in order to teach a grumpy boomer to lighten up. Every time it's played, I want to punch something.
11. "Holly Jolly Christmas" by Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé’s singing gets under my skin. There is no reason to cover Christmas music that has already been covered hundreds of times... and his Christmas special? Keep it.
12. "I'll Be Home for Christmas" by Bing Crosby

It's playing at all of the stores starting in early November. I feel bad for the workers that have only about a CD’s worth of music that's replayed for the nearly two-month span.
13. "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues

I turn the radio off each time it comes on and can’t believe it’s always rated number one in lists of top Christmas songs.
14. "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Brenda Lee

There’s just too much repetition.
15. And last but not least, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey
