Ah, there's hope for humanity yet! You watched _Fight Club_ (maybe even read the book) and didn't get swept away in Brad Pitt's pseudo-philosophical machismo. Tyler Durden isn't the hero of this story and was never meant to be emulated, but we don't have to tell you that, do we?

But hey – I get it. _Fight Club_ presents Tyler's philosophies with such gusto that it's easy to do what the narrator did and get lost in the hype. A solution to the mundanity of life – even one as radical as the one presented in _Fight Club_ – is pretty enticing. But isn't that the point?
