This Artist Painted Oscars Gowns Using Only Q-Tips

Pointed Q-Tips, to be exact.

During the Oscars red carpet, artist Katie Rodgers painted the best gowns using Q-Tips instead of the usual brush.

Rodgers told BuzzFeed Life that she, "stepped outside of my normal process with a brush. I love experimenting with different mediums and methods."

Above is Anna Kendrick's Thakoon gown.

Each gown only took about 5-10 minutes to paint.

Felicity Jones' Alexander McQueen gown was Rodgers' favorite at the Oscars.

To create the looks, Rodgers used gouache paint and sequins.

This Azzedine Alaia gown was Lady Gaga's first outfit of the night.

"They are inspiring to paint. There's so much behind each piece. There is an incredibly talented person, the story of their work, the story of the fashion designer, and the people behind the creation of a movie," Rodgers told BuzzFeed Life.

Chrissy Teigen wore this Zuhair Murad dress on the red carpet.
