This is what my fiancé wanted to do originally! But covid happened, and he ended up asking while we were on zoom with my family. The lesson here is...you can have all the awesome
plans in the world, and things can still go sideways, so be flexible!
Also for the love of everything…
So, haven’t seen anyone mention this yet. I am someone who has used a menstrual cup for the past decade, and am pretty committed to continuing to use it (unless my iud gets rid of my period, which would be amazing.) I also got an iud in October of this year (which, yes, insertion…
It’s really not hard to get into library school. But. There is also a serious over saturation of the library field as a whole. They encourage people to get their masters, but then it’s impossible to find a job because there are so few lower level jobs, you’re then “overqualified”…
I have a pembroke Welsh corgi, and I elected to keep her tail; I believe there is no reason to dock any dog’s tail unless it is medically necessary (i.e. it has an extreme case of happy tail that just won’t heal, or is injured in some way that causes them pain.) plus, damnit, corgis…
We just got engaged last month (while on Zoom with my family, yay quarantine!) but picked out the ring together before that. I originally wanted a blue stone of some sort as the center, but then his mom offered to let us have his great grandma’s engagement ring, which had two sapphires…
We’ve learned that she really is nosy; when we’re at work, she slept all day. Now that we’re working from home, she stays awake all day to make sure she doesn’t miss anything exciting. As a result, she is sleepier and grumpier than usual, but also snuggles more.

I say there are Bolsheviks in my basement. I think it’s hilarious, which says something about my sense of humor. Can’t take credit for it, I saw it somewhere on the internet 15 years ago.
Two weeks ago, got asked to go to dinner. He’d admitted previously that he’s had trouble emotionally connecting with past girlfriends, and I’d said I was willing to work with him on it. So, tough times, but I’d thought we’d work through it? Then, we eat dinner in a busy restaurant…
My senior year, I was placed in an English class with a boy who had mercilessly bullied me from 7th to 9th grade. Of course, he started right up again. Mr. M, was the first teacher who ever realized what the guy was doing, and how much it was hurting me both physically and emotionally.…
