Silly Vegetable Pictures Published By The New York Times

In case you missed it, vegetables are really cool now. And The New York Times wants you to know about it.

It all started last week with a sizable feature in The New York Times Magazine.

The full article is here, but in case you don’t want to read the whole thing writer Michael Moss speculates about what would happen if big ad executives marketed fresh produce (ie fruits and vegetables) like processed foods.

They also made a video, which shows mock up campaign images for broccoli created by mega ad agency Victors & Spoils, who represents Coca-Cola, Quiznos, and General Mills.
