I’m a first grade teacher and I extended my maternity leave by 2 months because I’m afraid to bring it home to my infant son. I don’t care if I get it at this point—I’m vaccinated and boosted so I’ll be fine. I want my baby to stay as healthy as possible.

I wish I had known that epidurals don’t always work so if you need an emergency c-section like I did, they have to knock you out. I completely missed my son’s birth because of that. I went under pregnant and came to with a baby boy. Thankfully we’re all healthy!
