Which "Divergent" Faction Do You Actually Belong In?

Amity is the faction dedicated to peacefulness, kindness, friendship, and forgiveness. They believe in love, not war, and their faction is truly democratic, voting on everything they do. They will often lie to avoid confrontation and their bread is embedded with peace serum, preventing Amity members from fighting. Their attire consists of red and yellow and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is soil.

Amity

Dauntless is the faction dedicated to bravery, courage, and fearlessness. The members are thrill-seeking warriors, lethally strong and practically immune to threats. During initiation, potential members go through harsh physical training and fear simulations, a mental task designed to prepare people to overcome their worst fears. The Dauntless attire consists of black, tattoos are a staple, and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is coal.

Dauntless

Erudite is the faction dedicated to astuteness, curiosity, and intelligence. They are in constant pursuit of knowledge and they can be found with a book in hand at any given moment. They’re power-hungry and thirsty for authority, often sacrificing themselves into moral corruption. Their attire consists of blue, glasses (no matter how perfect their vision), and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is water.

Erudite 

Abnegation is the faction dedicated to selflessness and simplicity, always putting others before themselves. Initiates are forced to reject a life of vanity and self-indulgence, protecting themselves from a selfish life of greed and envy. Mirrors, gossiping, and buying luxury items are strictly forbidden. Their attire consists of gray and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is stone.

Abnegation

Candor is the faction dedicated to honesty and trust, believing that honesty and openness is the key to a more peaceful society. They believe in fairness and are always seeking the truth, a trait that makes them brutally blunt and able to read body language to detect lies. Their attire consists of black and white and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is glass.

Candor 

Factionless is a status in which a person is not welcome to any faction. The Factionless live an impoverished life and are forced to do the low-paying jobs no one wants, such as factory workers, truck drivers, and janitors. They are homeless either because they failed their faction initiation or they chose their fate with opposing views of their society and how it’s run. Their community has become the largest in the city and their thirst for revenge has great consequences.
