Meryl Streep Reveals The One Character Even She Does Not Think She Could Play

Our lady Meryl Streep has proven time and time again that she is the greatest living actress in Hollywood. She’s won all of the (real) acting awards and remained so flawless in her four decades onscreen that if it were announced tomorrow that every… The kind of person who is comfortable at award shows . . . even though she wins at all of them. During their interview, G.M.A. correspondent Robin Roberts marveled, “I see you year in and year out on the red carpet at the Oscars and you’re a nervous wreck. I’m thinking, ‘How many times have you been here?!’ And you always say that it is very difficult for you to just enjoy the moment as many times as you have been nominated and won. What is it about the Oscars that you can’t just exhale?” “I'm not a glamour puss,” Streep modestly admitted. “I will say that. I don’t know how to be on the red carpet. And because Streep is not able to elaborate for several seconds on “that thing” that she cannot be on red carpets, we hope this means that Streep will never take on that character, even for diversity sake after she has played (and nailed) every other role under the sun. In that case, Kris Jenner better think of another actress she wants to portray her in that biopic she keeps pitching. That is one that will probably continue.”
