On Earth, no one can tell if they're hurtling through space upside down. April 12th, 2011 marks the fiftieth anniversary of Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin's manned space orbit. The first of its kind, it heralded a new era of space exploration. While Yuri took no photos during his mission, NASA has acquired many pictures of the Earth over the years from different manned and unmanned spacecraft.
