Blade Runner To Sue New York Post, TMZ

Publishing pictures of Oscar Pistorius crying contravenes a court ruling prohibiting the taking of photographs during the athletes' first court appearance.

Oscar Pistorius, who is charged for the murder of his model girlfriend, is said to take legal action against newspapers that published photos of the Blade Runner crying in court.

A judge ruled that photographs could only be taken before and after court proceedings but not during, which is when Pistorius broke down.

Numerous newspapers, including The New York Times and New York Post, published images of Pistorius cupping his face in his hands as he cried, which is a contravention of Friday's ruling.

Pistorius's lawyer Kenny Oldwage told South African reporters he'll make a decision on Tuesday as to what action will be taken against newspapers that published these images. Whether the South African court ruling can implicate newspapers printed outside South Africa, including the numerous websites carrying the images which include TMZ and The Huffington Post, is still unclear.
