What better way to celebrate the release of a killer album than pumping it live from speakers into the ears and souls of music lovers in a music festival known as Warped Tour?
Not sure if there is any better way, but this summer, The Word Alive is doing it just like that. They're rocking on the Monster Energy (North) stage all summer, and celebrating Dark Matter's release from earlier this year.
But when getting down to the nitty gritty, it's hard work. I got to sit with lead vocalist Telle and he opened up about why it's so hard to thrive in the music scene today. Passion is always motivation; but we live in a world where everything revolves around money, unfortunately, and as Telle puts it, being in a band these days can be scary.
However, there are always the benefits that make it worthwhile! This is The Word Alive's fourth year on the Warped Tour, and as the general consensus goes, it's just an awesome experience for the band (and also us fans).
