So, let's talk Gideon.
On July 1st, Gideon released their latest single "Pulling Teeth" which, despite the title, is actually a lot more pleasant than one may think. The band plans to release their new album this fall, and it will be their first release with Equal Vision Records. In the mean time, however, they're taking the Monster Energy (South) stage by storm on the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. Slowing down is simply not be an option for this group (if anything, this much is made evident when you catch their live set!)
At the Warped stop in West Palm Beach, I got to sit with lead vocalist Daniel McWhorter and guitarist/vocalist Tyler Riley. The two gave some brief details on the upcoming album, explaining how there will be more effort and meticulous study of the album before it's released. They also gave me their opinion on what fate would be worse: being attacked by a horse-sized duck, or 50 duck-sized horse.
