10 Short-Lasting Yet Incredibly Painful Moments Of Your Life

Short lasting things that probably everyone will experience in their lifetime. Best of luck to all of you and may these things stay out of your way (or vice versa)!

You know those things that are just a simple little bump but hurt like bad words and bring you to a level 10 on the pain scale even if it only lasts a few minutes? Here’s a list of the worst ones…

2. Brain Freeze

Yep, that’s pretty much what you look like. It makes your head hurt just to see this, doesn’t it?

3. Stubbed Toes

This kills. Ever done this twice in a row? On the same toe? The worst is when you tear your nail and then stub that same toe over and over and over.

4. Stepping on a Lego

To quote Andy’s Mom from Toy Story, “Ahh! I thought I told him to pick these up!” Ditto for me. You did too?

5. Plucking Nose Hairs

Or Eyebrows. Or pretty much anything that involves hair being pulled on.

6. Hitting Hip on a Corner

Often compared to the pain of being shot, this one’s terrible.

7. Popping a Pimple

Ouch! Better to leave it or pop it? Hurts and looks terrible both ways!

8. Hitting Your Funny Bone

Not so fun, is it?

9. Putting a Contact in Backwards

So maybe not everyone will experience but for those who haven’t trust those who have; you don’t want to. It makes the thought of daggers to the eye feel literal. An eyelash is hardly anything compared to this.

10. Slamming Your Finger

Usually you start this one pretty young (like this poor kid’s about to) and seldom grow out of it.

11. Getting Shampoo in Your Eye

And then stumble around your shower with your eyes closed for the next 20 minutes…

Wow, that was a painful list, wasn’t it? Any more that you can think of? Add them in the comments and I will update the post! Hope you don’t get up from your chair and do any of these!
