It's officially Cold Weather Season, which means it's finally tea season *!

    Hannah Hillam for BuzzFeed Comics

*I know some people drink tea year-round regardless of the weather, and I do too, but cozy cold-weather tea drinking > any other tea drinking. You know it's true.

To celebrate, here's a bunch of tea I suggest ringing in the season with. It's a mix of stuff I love, stuff my team loves, stuff the internet loves, and stuff currently on its way to my doorstep as we speak because of all the ill-advised purchases I made while putting this post together.

    Anna Borges / BuzzFeed

Yes, I have a problem!!! Not pictured: The six drawers below ALSO overflowing with tea. I will try every flavor of hot leaf water under the sun.

Judge all you want, but I'm here to try to drag you down with me, so without further ado:

    1. David's Tea Alpine Punch Loose Leaf Tea, a cozy blend of apple, cinnamon, ginger and almonds that a Goodful editor calls liquid hygge.

Rachel Miller / BuzzFeed / Via

The David’s Tea website describes it as "the kind of tea we imagine they serve in fabulous ski chalets in the Swiss Alps" and if that doesn't sell you, I don't know what will.

Get it from David's Tea starting at $8.98.

    2. Big Heart Tea Royal Treatmint Tea, a mix of mint and lavender that is somehow both relaxing and stimulating???

    Big Heart Tea

It's my go-to tea for when I have some work to do...but I'm doing it in bed in my favorite robe with my cats.

Get it from Big Heart Tea starting at $8.99.

    3. Buddha Tea CBD Peppermint Tea, because it was only so long until this existed, you know?

Soooo, CBD — a cannabis compound people claim will chill you out, relieve your pain, and do, like, a million other things, all without getting you high — is in everything lately, from tinctures to lotions to seltzers. Not going to lie, combining it with tea sounds like a dream pairing.

Get it from Buddha Tea for $19.99.

    4. Republic of Tea Ginger Peach Black Tea, which is a little sweet, a little spicy, and one of my favorite teas.

    Anna Borges / BuzzFeed

I'm all about seasonal tea — some teas just aren't right to drink at certain times of the year!!! — but this ginger peach black tea is one of the few I'm down to drink all year round. It's good hot or iced, and the peach flavor doesn't taste artificial at all (a problem I run into a lot with fruity teas).

Get it from Amazon for $9.75.

    5. Adagio Teas Zodiac Blends, each with flavors specifically chosen to represent each of the western astrology sun signs.

    Adagio Teas

Get your own sign, or get the one associated with the current season to get in the ~mood~. Plus, it comes in both loose leaf and tea bags.

Get it from Adagio starting at $9.

    6. Purpose Design Chai Tea Gift Set, a DIY kit that lets you experiment with personalized blends.

It comes with ceylon tea and earl grey tea as bases, plus spices like star anise, black peppercorns, whole cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves.

Get it from Anthropologie for $35.

    7. Dropping Seeds Herbal Meditation Trio, three excellent blends for incorporating tea into your self-care or meditation practices.

You can drink this blend as a tea, smoke it, or put it in a bath to help you get in touch with your ~inner universe~. According to Dropping Seeds, the Moon blend is meant to support inward reflection, the Center blend balances mindfulness with heart rejuvenation, and the Sync blend encourages inspiration and lucidity.

Get it from Dropping Seeds for $27.

    8. Celestial Seasonings Vermont Maple Ginger Tea, which sounds like an odd combination but works, I promise!!!

    Celestial Seasonings

If you like maple and you like ginger, then c'mon, you have to try it.

Get it from Amazon for $14.22 for a pack of six 20-count boxes or from Celestial Seasonings for $3.49 for a box of 20.

    9. Harney & Sons Tea Sampler, a set of 14 different flavors (plus honey crystal packs!) for the indecisive tea drinkers out there.

You get three bags of each flavor, so if you find one you love, you'll get two more cups!

    10. David's Tea Cinnamon Rooibos Chai, a caffeine-free blend with cinnamon and apples that will satisfying your chai craving without keeping you up.

    David's Tea

Cinnamon allegedly is great for helping with memory and concentration, so if you need a caffeine-free option for a late night study or work session, you're going to want to try a steamy cup of this baby.

Get it from David's Tea starting at $8.98.

    11. Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma Tea, which will obviously never replace coffee, but comes pretty close if you're looking for a caffeine-free alternative.

    Celestial Seasonings

Promising review: "Just trying the Roastaroma flavor for the first time and I LOVE IT. Nice for these arctic winter nights when I want a subtle coffee taste and warmness but no caffeine. Seriously this tea is great, my new fave." —jljarmstrong

Get it from Amazon for $20.48 for a pack of six 20-count boxes or from Celestial Seasonings for $3.49 for a box of 20.

    12. Pique Organic Sencha Japanese Green Tea, which comes in single-serve packs of ~tea crystals~ that dissolve in hot and cold water.

I was totally skeptical of the idea of tea crystals, but they're??? Good??? And by good I mean they taste just like regular tea, but you can't accidentally over- or under-steep your tea bag and wind up with a cup of bitter or weak leaf water. Count me in.

Get it from Anthropologie for $13.

    13. Tea Forté's Large Tin Sampler, which I shamelessly love because the packaging is so cute.

LOOK AT THE LITTLE LEAF! Also, the sampler has 15 samples, including black currant, earl grey, jasmine green (my personal fave), white ginger pear, and chamomile citron.

Get it from Amazon for $26.60.

    14. Stash Tea's Gift Sampler, which comes with 54 different flavors so you can pretty much become a professional tea taster.

Bonus: It's roughly half caffeinated teas, half decaffeinated teas.

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    15. David's Tea Cold 911, which will soothe your weary soul when you're feeling like crap.

It's got peppermint to calm your throat, plus a bit of sweetness with apples and juniper berries. Taste aside, it smells like eucalyptus and orange, so you can ALSO inhale the steam to feel better. Ahhhhhh.

Get it from David's Tea starting at $9.98.

    16. Adagio Teas Christmas Tea Sampler, which includes chestnut, gingerbread, candy apple, and candy cane loose leaf teas.

~Chestnut tea boiling by an open fire...~

I must admit, the Hangover Tea has served me well.

Get it from Anthropologie for $15.

    19. Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea, a satisfying as fuck blend of cinnamon, orange peels and sweet cloves.

    StephanieC / Amazon / Via

Reviewers on Amazon consistently rave about the natural sweetness of this tea and just how delicious it is and reader, I can't wait to try it.

Get it from Amazon for $9.52.
