If These Movies And Shows Were Made In The Philippines

♫ Kumapit ka sa akin, hindi kita bibitawan♫

In the ABS-CBN Primetime series "Ang Probinsyano", the song "Wag Ka Nang Umiyak" by Gary Valenciano is always played on every single remotely dramatic scene and so, the song earned notoriety for that very reason.

The song became so notorious to Filipinos that parody videos in which soundtracks of dramatic scenes in famous TV shows and movies were replaced by that song. From Train to Busan to Titanic, here are the movies and TV series that received that kind of a treatment

This fad also inspired spin-offs such as a parody video where the theme to the ABS-CBN Primetime series "Till I Met You" is used as a soundtrack in a scene of Stranger Things where Mike Wheeler admits his feelings to Eleven

and a parody video depicting a Filipino version of How I Met Your Mother in the style of the famous Kalyeserye from GMA-7's noontime variety show "Eat Bulaga"
