Here's An iPhone Wallet That Speaks To The Party Girl And Dad In All Of Us

Real talk: I've been a phone-wallet convert for some time because I absolutely DREAD holding up a line while I dig through my bag for my wallet.

Getting a phone case–wallet hybrid has saved me a lot of time and stress, and it's generally made things a lot more convenient. By nature of my constant texting/listening to music/tweeting about Good Anime Booties (leave me alone), my phone is usually pretty accessible...so now my cash and cards are, too!

Although this one (which costs $14.99 on Amazon) wasn't my first phone wallet, I can tell you that it is by far my favorite, for a few reasons.

1) I don't have to open or unlatch anything to use my phone. With my previous phone wallet, I had to open up the case itself, which made my phone difficult to use with one hand while on the subway. (Also, one time as I was opening it, my phone flew out of my hands and fell down four flights of stairs but whatever.)

2) My cards are hidden from view, and because of the magnetic clasp they feel secure. I honestly can't imagine a way for them to slip out.

3) As far as phone wallets go, this one is pretty slender! It doesn't fit in my pants pockets (though I typically wear pants designed for women, so what does?), BUT it fits in my jacket pocket and is easy to hold with one hand. So yes, optimal for selfies.

4) It's sturdy and protective. I drop my phone multiple times a week and somehow (I'm assuming in part thanks to this case?) it still functions.

But, hey — if you don't believe me, then listen to my father. He has this phone case, too!

My dad and I have several things in common: a love of space, cashews, and now, this phone case. When he first saw me use my phone wallet, he got pretty dad-hyped and immediately went out and ordered the (dad AF) brown version for himself.

Its one downside, aside from being a liiiiiittle thick for the pockets of my jeans, is that the sides seemed to have discolored a bit over time — but really, that happens with most cases anyway.

I promise I'm not dirty! I tried to scrub my phone really hard before this photo! But I can't say the loss of color bothers me too much, and I don't see myself getting a new phone case anytime soon (unless they make one like this with Yuri!!! on Ice characters on it).
