They come running for playtime when you call their names.
"Lucy! Lucy!"
And bring along equally eager friends.
They'll even surprise you and emerge from unexpected places. Just to play with YOU.
"Where'd Marigold go?"
And only sometimes just because you have cupcakes.
Because cupcakes are a respectable way to make friends.
But mostly it's just because they have A LOT of energy.
Like, they can run seven minute miles.
And because they know that anything can be a toy.
Seriously.
ANYTHING.
Though real toys are cool too.
Because piglets are champs at Tug-of-War.
But maybe less cool than you.
Cause you're fascinating.
Endlessly.
Fascinating.
