    This year Vidcon, one of the world's largest conventions for fans and content creators, turns 10!

    The annual convention is taking place this weekend in Anaheim, CA and I guess you could say it's got me feeling a little nostalgic. I'm talking back when Vidcon hotel room collabs were all the rage, tag games reigned supreme, and hitting a million followers was, like, a huge deal.

    So I decided to put my social media sleuthing skills to the test and check back in on some of the most popular Youtubers ~2012/3 and see what they're up to now.

    Grace Helbig (dailygrace, itsgrace)

    (and a bonus Mamrie Hart!)

    Two books, a talk show, and countless hairstyles later, Grace is still out here making fun content on the interwebs. Along with her occasional youtube uploads, she hosts a weekly podcast "This Might Get Weird" with Mamrie Hart and her own interview podcast "Not Too Deep." And for any "Holy Trinity" stans out there: Yes, she still uploads videos with Mamrie and Hannah from time to time!

    While Hart still graces our screens with the occasional episode of My Drunk Kitchen, she's risen to the big leagues with her own Food Network travel show I Hart Food and two cookbooks (the second on it's way later this year!) You might've also seen her in Taylor Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" music video, where she made a cameo. Hart is also now engaged to fellow content creator Ella Mielniczenko.

    While you can still catch him uploading weekly videos on Youtube, Oakley and his longtime friend Korey Kuhl have also blessed our screens recently as a two-time contestants on The Amazing Race.

    The former O2L member continues to post the occasional sit-down style vlog on his channel, but has mostly kept himself busy as an entrepreneur and creative director. Connor designs clothes for his Common Culture clothing and coffee line, co-founded Heard Well record label, and released his second book Note to Self in 2017. He's also (unofficially) the king of taking aesthetically-pleasing instagrams.

    Troye Sivan

    Boy toy named Troye used to live in... Australia and now he's taking the music world by storm. Last year Troye released his second studio album Bloom featuring a collab with the queen of pop herself, Ariana Grande. Troye also appeared as a special guest on Taylor Swift's Reputation tour, a musical guest on SNL, and in the 2018 film Boy Erased. He even received a "Best Original Song" Golden Globe nomination (woah!) for "Revelation," which he co-wrote and recorded for the film.

    This dynamic duo has been busy touring 18 countries on their massive world tour Interactive Introverts, which has also been turned into a DVD movie. Both Dan and Phil have recently come out as gay, Dan in June and Phil in July of this year.

    Zoe Sugg (zoella280390)

    Sugg has kept herself busy working on a brunch-inspired makeup collab with Colourpop, co-founding the photography app Filmm, and running her beauty and lifestyle brand, Zoella. Earlier this year Sugg decided against releasing any new collections to the line, choosing not to renew her licensing agreement and setting up her products to be discontinued in 2020.

    And to any of you Zalfie shippers out there: Yes, they're still going strong and yes, their fur-baby Nala is still absolutely adorable.

    Alfie Deyes (pointlessblog)

    Like many other British Youtubers, Deyes has found himself on TV, guest starring on Release the Hounds and in the celebrity edition of The Crystal Maze. He and girlfriend Zoe Sugg also founded A to Z Creatives and Merchandise, a brand agency based in Brighton.

    While Sugg's made quite a few appearances on TV, he's become notorious as a contestant on season 16 of Strictly Come Dancing. I think it's safe to say he did a bit more than strictly dance, as he's currently dating his partner from the show, Dianne Buswell.

    Sugg's also been busy as a voice actor for characters such as Pizza Boy (A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon), Azrea (The Amazing World Of Gumball), and Gus (UK version of Wonder Park).

    Caspar Lee (dicasp)

    While Lee might not be living with and pulling pranks on his good ole pal Joe anymore, he's kept himself busy as chief Innovation Officer for Influencer Ltd, an influencer marketing agency in the UK. Lee is most active as an influencer on Instagram with girlfriend and model Ambar Driscoll.

    Marcus Butler (MarcusButlerTV)

    Aside from a handful of old videos, Butler decided to delete most of his content from his channel. He's primarily a model and social media influencer with his main medium being Instagram. Butler's also made the rounds on British TV, you might've seen him as contestant on Celebrity MasterChef or as a a guest on Release the Hounds, Saturday Night Takeaway, and Good Morning Britain.

    Tanya Burr

    Burr has shifted her focus from computer screen to the big screen, pursuing a career in acting. While she continues to share her love for fashion, makeup, and modeling on social media, Burr's held roles in both Hurt By Paradise and Cassette coming out this year.

    This May, Burr and husband Jim Chapman announced their split after 12 years together and 4 years of marriage.

    Chapman continues to post the occasional vlog, his primary focus is fashion and modeling. He's a monthly contributing editor for GQ, where he mostly covers mens fashion and style. Following his split with Tanya Burr, Chapman is now dating model Sarah Tarleton.

    Jack and Finn Harries (Jacksgap)

    The JacksGap twitter and instagram accounts were deleted in February of 2017, with the Youtube channel shifting from featuring both brothers to primarily Jack and his activism. After leaving university 7 years prior to pursue Youtube, the twins both returned to school, Jack getting his Masters in Documentary Film at UCL and Finn getting a Bachelors in Architecture at Parson's School of Design in NYC.

    Joey Graceffa (JoeyGraceffa)

    Graceffa is overall still fairly active on his Youtube channel, but rather than vlogs or challenge videos, he's been hard at work creating and staring in his Youtube Red web series Escape The Night. The series is currently on season 4 and features some of today's biggest Youtube stars. Graceffa also launched a crystal-inspired fashion and jewelry line called Crystal Wolf and co-wrote a dystopian YA series Children of Eden.

    Jenna Marbles Mourey (jennamarbles)

    Notorious Virgo and Youtube's sweetheart Jenna Marbles is likely the most active of the bunch still on Youtube, uploading wonderfully silly content once a week and often featuring her beloved pups. She also hosts a weekly podcast Jenna & Julien with her long-time boyfriend Julien Solomita.

    Ryan Higa (nigahiga)

    Higa's been keeping himself busy with a variety of projects lately: his book "How to Write Good," the Off the Pill podcast, and releasing his own Ninja Melk energy drink. He also runs The Ryan Higa Foundation, a non-profit organization that awards charitable individuals with their "best day ever." Higa is also currently dating Arden Cho, who you might recognize as Kira Yukimura from Teen Wolf.

    Shane Dawson (ShaneDawsonTV)

    Hey what's up you guys, yes...it's Shane here continuing to kill it on Youtube. He's switched from his daily uploads of hacks and sketches to posting his wildly popular docuseries-style content, investigating the latest in Youtube scandals (Tanacon, Jeffree Star, Jake Paul) and conspiracy theories. He's currently working on a series about the beauty community and makeup, simultaneously becoming a quasi-beauty guru himself.

    Dawson currently lives in Calabasas with his two dogs, his cat Cheeto, and his fiancé/fellow Youtuber Ryland Adams.

    Bethany Mota (Macbarbie07)

    The lifestyle vlogger has kept a fairly low profile the past few year aside from an appearance on Celebrity Undercover Boss in 2018. Mota is currently dating fellow Youtuber and dancer, D-trix.
