"Parks And Rec"'s Jim O'Heir Bought Cookies For Fans Lined Up For "SNL" And It Actually Made My Day
What a Jerry Gergich thing to do.
This weekend Taylor Swift was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and being the pop queen that she is, drew quite a crowd to the SNL standby line.
In case you're not familiar with the standby process, fans camp out on the streets of NYC until 7 a.m. on Saturday morning for a standby ticket to that night's taping or dress rehearsal. This ticket doesn't guarantee admission and typically requires a good chunk of time waiting in line in order to get in. It's a commitment for sure, especially with a huge guest like Taylor.
Well, Taylor wasn't the only star gracing 30 Rock that day. Fans were surprised to spot Jim O'Heir, who played Garry/Jerry/Larry Gergich on Parks and Recreation, walking right past the standby line on Friday afternoon.

Which, let's be honest, is such a Jerry thing to do.
Well, Taylor wasn't the only star gracing 30 Rock that day. Fans were surprised to spot Jim O'Heir, who played Garry/Jerry/Larry Gergich on Parks and Recreation walking right past the standby line on Friday afternoon. Which, let's be honest, is such a Jerry thing to do.

Amanda and Jill, who run a standby line Twitter, said, "He chatted with every single person for as long as they wanted. We heard him saying how the line and everyone's dedication was inspiring to him, which was so sweet!"

But Jim, being the sweetheart that he is, wasn't about to stop there.
"When he was done, he said, 'I'll be back!' We kind of thought, 'yeah okay sure,' but I guess probably half an hour later he DID come back and he brought bags of cookies with him from Milk Bar, which he told us was his favorite cookie place."
He passed out cookies and took some more selfies with fans before heading back to 30 Rock.
Y'all, HE BOUGHT THEM COOKIES, HOW SWEET IS THAT?? I WANT JIM O'HEIR MILK BAR COOKIES. Absolutely wholesome, we have no choice but to stan.
Me @ Jim, honestly.
Jordyn, another huge Parks and Rec fan, had commented on Jim's instagram post earlier asking him to visit the line. Although it turns out he hadn't seen it and just happened upon the line, he did make sure to go back and leave her a sweet comment.

"I asked him if he had seen my Instagram comment on his latest post saying, 'You should stop by the SNL standby line to say hi!' and he laughed and told me that he hadn’t but if he had he would have definitely come. He just happened to be on his way to 30 Rock."
