Here’s What The Cast Of “Gilmore Girls” Is Up To 20 Years After Its Premiere

All these reunion selfies are making me so nostalgic!

It's been almost 20 years since we met Rory and Lorelai Gilmore for the first time! Can you believe it?

Well, I decided to check in on our favorite Stars Hollow residents. Here's what they're up to now:

    1. Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore)

Our lovely Rory Gilmore is still acting! She's appeared on shows like Mad Men, Us & Them, and most recently The Handmaid's Tale. She's kept a pretty low profile since her Stars Hollow days though, and hasn't updated her public Facebook or Twitter since 2015.

    2. Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore)

Since Gilmore Girls, Graham published three books: Someday, Someday, Maybe; Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between); and In Conclusion, Don't Worry About It. She's still continued acting, too! You might've seen her in It's Kind of a Funny Story, Parenthood, or her new show Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.

    3. Scott Patterson (Luke Danes)

From the looks of it, Patterson seems to be keeping very busy! He channeled his inner Luke by starting his own coffee company — Scotty P's Big Mug Coffee — and is also in a band called Smith Radio. It looks like he still keeps in touch with some of his fellow Gilmore Girls castmates, too! He and Sean Gunn recently attended GalaxyCon together and shared this adorable selfie.

    4. Keiko Agena (Lane Kim)

Agena is still acting and has appeared in shows like Better Call Saul, 13 Reasons Why, and Prodigal Son. She released a creative journal called No Mistakes in 2018 and currently cohosts a UCB variety show called "Asian AF." She and her on-screen mom, Emily Kuroda, seem to be close still — Agena shared this recent selfie of the two of them watching a play!

    5. Melissa McCarthy (Sookie St. James)

It's safe to say Melissa McCarthy has blown up since Gilmore Girls. She's been in tons of movies, like Bridesmaids, Spy, Ghostbusters, and Can You Ever Forgive Me? She also starred in Mike & Molly, for which she won a "Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series" Emmy, and is currently the host of the children's talent show Little Big Shots. She and her on-screen BFF Lauren Graham still seem to be close, too! McCarthy recently shared the cutest reunion picture of the two of them on Instagram.

    6. Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard)

Truesdale continued acting after playing the iconic Michel Gerard, making appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Love by Accident, and My Salinger Year. He and Lauren Graham look like they're still good pals all these years later, too. Truesdale shared a picture of the two of them celebrating Thanksgiving together last November on Instagram, and it's so great!

    7. Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore)

Bishop had quite the résumé before Gilmore GirlsDirty Dancing, anyone? — and she's still acting all these years later! She most recently played Fanny Flowers on Bunheads, Bea Wilson on The Good Wife, and starred in The Salzburg Story as The Lady.

    8. Edward Herrmann (Richard Gilmore)

Herrmann continued acting, appearing in shows like How I Met Your Mother and The Good Wife. He even voiced a commercial in The Wolf of Wall Street. Unfortunately, our dear Richard Gilmore passed away in 2014, before the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life reunion.

    9. Liza Weil (Paris Geller)

Weil is still gracing our TV screens all these years later! She played Amanda Tanner on Scandal, Milly Stone on Bunheads, and is currently playing Bonnie Winterbottom on How to Get Away with Murder and Carole Keen on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She also recently reunited with her on-screen boyfriend, Danny Strong, who played Boyle on Gilmore Girls .

    10. Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason)

Our dear strange Kirk is now killin' it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Gunn played Kraglin in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies and the final two Avengers movies. And while Rocket Raccoon is voiced by Bradley Cooper, Sean plays him on-set and is the man behind Rocket's movement and facial expressions. He's also starring in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

    11. David Sutcliffe (Christopher Hayden)

Sutcliffe continued acting for a while — he starred in Cracked and Proof — but ultimately put acting on the back burner to pursue other things. Now, at least according to his Twitter bio, he's making documentaries and leading transformational workshops instead.

    12. Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester)

Padalecki finished his run on Gilmore Girls in 2005 and began playing the iconic Sam Winchester on Supernatural that same year. It's been 15 years, and he's still playing Sam today on the show's final season.

    13. Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano)

Ventimiglia has been consistently acting since Gilmore Girls, appearing in shows like Heroes, Chosen, and The Whispers. You might also recognize him as Jack Pearson, who he currently plays on This is Us. Of the Gilmore Girls alums, he's one of the most active on social media. His Instagram is definitely as artsy as I'd imagine Jess's would have been, too.

    14. Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger)

Matt has taken on some serious roles since his run on Gilmore Girls. He starred in The Good Wife for seven years as Cary Agos and is currently on his third year playing Conrad Hawkins on The Resident.

And there you have it! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go binge Gilmore Girls on Netflix and feel nostalgic all over again.
