_Of course_ you get stuck in the elevator the one day you're running, like, _super_ late. And it's even worse because you're stuck in here with some random (admittedly, a little cute) stranger. It seems that whoever's been sent to rescue the two of you is taking their sweet time, so to quell your rising anxiety, you decide to strike up a conversation with your new elevator bestie. Aside from the whole "being confined in a small metal box" thing, the conversation actually isn't half bad. Just when you're getting into the ~deep stuff~ (why they 100% need to watch your favorite show that they've somehow never seen), help finally arrives. You're relieved, but you also feel just a little bit disappointed the conversation must come to an end (...for now).

For your latest project, each person is assigned a partner and — surprise, surprise — you two get paired together. You spend a while wondering what awful thing you did to deserve this, but it eventually starts to become manageable and, dare you say it, almost fun to work together? You've always thought that the whole "opposites attract" thing was stupid, but you're starting to think you could get behind "enemies to lovers."

You hate each other, but you're assigned to work together.

You'd think more people would want to see a cinematic masterpiece such as the film you decided to take yourself to see on what was a seemingly boring weeknight, but alas, it looks as if it's just you. That is, until one other person walks in. For a strange reason, it feels a little awkward at first, but as the movie goes on and a couple of jokes are cracked, you think this might just be the most fun you've ever had at a movie theater. You share popcorn and compliments over having a \*chef's kiss\* taste in movies.
