Lesson One: "I learned to block some of the noise."

Sometimes, people take advantage of kindness. Taylor says it best: "grow a backbone, trust your gut, and know when to strike back. Be like a snake — only bite if someone steps on you."

Lesson Two: "Being sweet to everyone all the time can get you into a lot of trouble."

No one has it all figured out and that's okay; trying new things and learning from mistakes fosters growth. Take risks and don't be afraid to keep trying if it doesn't work out how you might expect.

Lesson Three: "Trying and failing and trying again and failing again is normal."

Advice from others can be great and extremely helpful. However, in the end, your opinion on what's happening in your life will always be the most important. You know yourself best; make the choices that feel right for you.

Lesson Eight: "I learned not to let outside opinions establish the value I place on my own life choices."

Life's too short to not take risks when it comes to fashion. As Miss Swift puts it: "if you don’t look back at pictures of some of your old looks and cringe, you’re doing it wrong."

Lesson Twenty One: "Fashion is all about playful experimentation."
