We're about to get a new season of The Circle, and as a day one viewer, I'm living for this.
This show has managed to consistently be there for escape when there is some kind of catastrophe going on, and I, for one, could not be more grateful for some meaningless, captivating mess.
I went into previous seasons blind, but this time I had to see who would be competing to be the last influencer standing.
Without further ado, I bring you the Season 4 cast.
1. Parker Abbott is a 21-year-old sorority girl from Miami who is about that partying, poppin' bottles life.
Parker's not playing as herself, however. She thinks players might be suspicious of a sorority girl with tons of sexy selfies, so she's going to find a way into players' hearts by posing as her 56-year-old dad, Paul.
2. Josh Brubaker, who goes by Bru, is a 25-year-old radio host from West Hollywood who compares his personality to that of a golden retriever.
Bru is a pretty big deal on social media and feels he can translate those skills to The Circle, all while cracking some dad jokes.
3. Rachel Evans is a 29-year-old paranormal researcher from Houston, Texas.
Rachel has an edge, as she's also worked in social media. Her self-assured and sarcastic ways bring some incredible energy to the competition.
4. Alex Brizard is a 28-year-old commercial banker from Scottsdale, Arizona looking to win the big prize and put a down payment on a house.
To get there, he's catfishing the competition as 22-year-old Nathan, a major frat bro.
5. John Franklin is a 24-year-old social media content creator from New Jersey who is big proud to be Italian, with a tattoo of St. Anthony on his chest to prove it.
John isn't playing as himself, however, instead deciding to play as his mom, Carol (pictured holding their dog), because "the most popular person in every Italian family is the mom."
6. Crissa's now a basketball-themed social media content creator going into The Circle as herself, hoping that her "full-court vision" helps her get a feel for the competition.
Crissa Jackson is a 31-year-old basketball pro that was the 13th woman to ever play with the Harlem Globetrotters.
7. Frank Grimsley is a 28-year-old school social worker from Maryland who is coming into The Circle as himself, and it's all about fun and love.
Frank is serving looks and one-liners from what we've seen so far, and it's everything.
8. Alyssa Ljubicich is a 27-year-old assistant to a sex and relationship coach, from New York playing as herself.
She plans on working her knowledge of sex and relationships to get other contestants to open up on a ~deeper~ level.
9. Yu Ling Wu is a 25-year-old brand marketing consultant from San Francisco who oozes personality from the jump.
Yu Ling is all neon and fiery energy in the best way, and it'll be interesting to see how competitors handle it.
