If, like me, you're a fan of The Great British Bake Off, then you might have been worried that we wouldn't be getting new episodes this year.
But I'm overjoyed to tell you that filming has already wrapped on a new season!

Of course, things might look different this year. According to an interview from Radio Times with the show's creative producer Keiran Smith, the cast and crew went through rigorous safety precautions and COVID testing and were all housed in the same hotel to create a "bubble."
Fans are bringing up a very important question: Will all those safety precautions be enough to keep the Hollywood Handshake in play?

Sources say yes, but we'll see for certain when the show returns.
There's no set return date yet, but it seems likely that we'll be able to watch Paul Hollywood stare at bakers before the year is out. Fingers crossed!
