If you've ever heard music before, you probably have also heard "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys.
Now, this song has kind of a confusing ending. They sing: "I never wanna hear you say / I want it that way / 'Cause I want it that way."
Since this is a BuzzFeed post, of course Chrissy Teigen is involved. She posed the question we've all been wondering for years:
“I never wanna hear you say, ‘I want it that way’ cause i want it that way”. He doesn’t wanna hear it because he is the one that wants it that way? He wants to be the one to say it? Also what is “it”?

Their answer is still kinda confusing, so let's break that down.
When they sing "I never wanna hear you say, 'I want it that way,'" they're saying that they never want to hear the girl say that she wants them to be "two worlds apart" or any of the other bad stuff in the song.
So when they say "'Cause I want it that way" at the end, they're saying that THEY want to never hear her say that SHE wants bad things to happen to their relationship.
Anyway, fans are very thankful.
