Can You Pick The Right Kardashian To Marry For Publicity?
You'd think Kim would be the best choice, wouldn't you? But as it turns out, it wouldn't help your career at all; instead, you'd go back to whatever it is you do (basketball?) and just be known as the person who was married to Kim Kardashian for a little while. Her star shines brighter than yours. Sorry.
Being married to Kourtney for 72 days would be fine: You'd be in a few episodes of the show, have some organic green smoothies, and try your best to get Mason and Penelope to accept you as their new step-parent. But ultimately, Kourtney doesn't make enough drama for you to be in headlines, so your 72-day marriage would come and go and nobody would really care. Hopefully you didn't bond too much with the kids. You monster.
Nailed it! Khloé is the perfect member of the Kardashian family to marry for 72 days. She'll be fresh off her divorce, which means her new marriage will be big news. Plus, people like Khloé, and she's the perfect blend of being able to stir up drama and also stay above it. In fact, after 72 days, you might find yourself wanting to stay married...but too bad, your contract is up and the show doesn't have the budget for another series regular.
Rob doesn't have the profile on his own to make your 72-day marriage worth your time. Unfortunately, you'd end up with not a lot of publicity to show for it and almost zero career boost. UNLESS of course you play the long game and become an enemy of the family first, then get pregnant with Rob's baby and go public with your relationship. But not everybody can pull that off.
Kris? Are you kidding me? It doesn't even matter how much publicity you'd get off of this marriage, there's no way it's worth it.
You probably thought, "You know, Kendall actually seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She's trying to build a legit modeling and fashion career, without all the extra tabloid drama." You're right, too...but the problem is, you'd actually fall in love and grow old together after many happy years of marriage, and how does that help you?
