Try These Cocktails While You Watch Your Favorite CW Show

Tuesdays (starting Oct. 6)

1. The Fastest Man Alive — The Flash

This variation on a classic tequila sunrise adds just a splash of Red Bull for a caffeinated kick.

You'll need:

4 oz orange juice

2 oz white tequila

1/2 oz grenadine

Splash of Red Bull

2. Bloody Brains — iZombie

This shot makes for a weird, gross texture but is surprisingly sweet. It's perfect for Halloween parties too!

You'll need:

1 1/4 oz strawberry vodka

1/8 oz Rose's lime juice

3/4 oz Baileys Irish Cream

Splash of grenadine

Wednesdays (starting Oct. 7)

3. The Black Canary — Arrow

This twist on the classic White Russian adds cola, giving it a little sweet and fizz plus a darker look.

You'll need:

1 oz Kahlua

1 oz vodka

4 oz cola

4. Salt and Brimstone — Supernatural

Mix any kind of margarita you like, and the ring of salt will keep any demons out of your drink. For extra flair/hellfire, add a flaming piece of citrus peel.

You'll need:

3 oz tequila

2 oz lime juice

1 oz simple syrup

1/2 to 1 tsp orange liqueur

1 Tbsp. salt

5. Blood (Orange) Cosmopolitan — The Vampire Diaries

Add a little blood orange juice to your Cosmo recipe to get a citrusy variation that's both delicious ~and~ visually unsettling!

You'll need:

2 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice

2 oz cointreau

3 oz vodka

3 ozs cran-raspberry juice

6. The Highbrid

Originally called the Highline Spritzer as it was inspired by New York's High Line parks, this cocktail can be considered a hybrid since it mixes spirits (tequila) with wine (prosecco). It does not have the werewolf gene as far as we know.

You'll need:

1 1/2 oz white tequila

3/4 oz Lillet Rose

3/4 oz fresh lemon juice

3/4 oz lavender syrup

1 oz prosecco

7. Mary, Queen of Scotch — Reign

You don't find a lot of cocktails with scotch in them, which is what makes this one both delicious AND rare. You might know it by its original name, Blood and Sand, which still sort of applies to Reign in a way.

You'll need:

1 oz Scotch, blended

1 oz cherry liqueur

1 oz sweet vermouth

1 oz orange juice

8. The Boozy Tooch — America's Next Top Model

If you're going to drink during ANTM, you need a cocktail that is as fabulous, complex, and intense as Tyra Banks herself. This cocktail has enough sweetness to hide all the rum you're drinking, so watch out. It'll sneak up on you, just like Tyra.

You'll need:

1 oz Malibu coconut rum

1 oz Midori

1/2 oz blue curaçao

2 oz pineapple juice

1 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

9. The Crazy Ex — Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

With a mix of apple and cranberry, this cocktail is a little bit sweet and a little bit sour. Kinda like that one ex you have. You know, the one that would probably move to West Covina to get back together with you, just like how Rachel Bloom does on this new musical comedy show.

You'll need:

3 oz apple vodka

3 oz cranberry juice

10. Virgin on the Beach — Jane the Virgin

A show about a virgin naturally would go great with a virgin cocktail. This is just a classic Sex on the Beach with no alcohol, so if you're feeling boozy you can always add a couple ounces of vodka.

You'll need:

3 oz cranberry juice

3 oz grapefruit juice

2 oz peach nectar
