You may have heard the term "eggcorn" before. For those who haven't, an eggcorn is a commonly misheard/misspoken/misspelled word or phrase where the similar sounding incorrect version is as ubiquitous (if not more so) than the correct version.
It's named "eggcorn" after what is perhaps the most famous example of this phenomenon: The way many people pronounce the word "acorn" despite the fact that there's neither an "e" nor a "g" in the word.
So I'm curious — how many of these common words or phrases have you been saying wrong all your life?
Before you get started, you should know that this is NOT a trivia quiz and you will not be receiving points for correct answers. Each question is a POLL, and the intent is to see which versions of these eggcorns are most popularly used, so don't cheat.
