An Old Attack, And Romney’s 2002 Response

Newt Gingrich’s superPAC Winning Our Future has been making a habit of recycling old attacks on Mitt Romney. First, they released a widely panned documentary, When Mitt Romney Came To Town. Now, they are releasing a document about Medicare fraud that occurred at company Bain Capital invested in which Romney sat on the board of. The attack is an old one. Romney’s 2002 Gubernatorial opponent, Shannon O’Brien, used the attack to repeatedly hammer Romney as “the face of corporate greed.” Romney addressed the claims in this 2002 debate.
